Library Policy

1. Introduction

Quest International College manages to provide a well resourceful library with a wide range of textbooks, reference books, audio-visual materials, newspapers, ebook library with ample textbooks, journals and magazines to strengthen their academic standards.

 

2. Purpose

Quest International College enhances reading culture and contributes to reading management with sources available globally in the competitive manner.

 

3. Scope

This policy aims to determine to support and enhance knowledge through sharing, teaching, and learning in their library period.

 

4. Access

4.1. Book, Research Papers, and Magazines

The students shall borrow books, research papers, and magazines from the library only after registering on the log book with details.

 

5. Entrance

5.1. ID/ Library Card

The students shall carry their id card while entering the library.'

5.2. No Food, No Tobacco/Alcohol

Edible items, tobacco, or alcohol inside the library is strictly prohibited and students are required to maintain silent.

 

6. Permission

6.1. Borrowing/ Returning

The students shall borrow the course books for a semester and referece books for a month and shall return it on time; they shall renew the date if they want to extend the date.

6.2. Late Return Charge and Overdue

The drop out students shall return the book or they shall be obliged to pay the same amount of the book.

6.3. Photocopy

The students shall ask the librarian for consent before they photocopy from the books borrowed from the library.

6.4. Must not Enter Restricted Area

The students shall not enter the restricted area in the library or they shall ask :the librarian for permission before they enter.

 

7. Condition

7.1. Lost or Damage

The students shall be charged or get the same books if they lose it or damage it.

 

8. Donation

The college shall accept books that are in good condition or valuable for the courses/programs in the college.
